“The Fugitive Kind” Revisited: a Celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Making of the Movie
On Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 2 PM at the Milton Train Station, the Marlborough Historical Society will host an informal roundtable gathering to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the making of “The Fugitive Kind”, which was filmed on location in Milton and in the surrounding area in July and August of 1959.
We encourage you to bring your remembrances and film-related memorabilia to share with the group. Although we will not be showing the film in its entirety, we will be looking at relevant clips.
John Haluska, a retired teacher and 40-year resident of Marlborough will lead the discussion and share some of his extensive research on the film as well as his recollections of being present during the film shoot.
Admission to this event is free and all are welcome.
